BANGKOK, March 14 : ASEAN governments joined hands with international researchers in a bid to improve the region’s lagging standard of STEM education (science, technology, engineering and maths).The researchers offered proposals to boost STEM education at an international video conference organized by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMOE). Actually, the representatives from ASEAN countries’
government and the People’s Republic of China,gathered on 14 November 2018 in Singapore and publish the Joint Statement on ASEAN-China Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation to enhance the STEM education cooperation between China and ASEAN countries. In this way, it is definite that the STEM education cooperation between the two parties will be boosted soon.
